Elwood Logue Jr

Services for Elwood Logue, Jr., 85 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00pm, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hugh Rocket and Rev. Kevin Kelly will officiate and interment will follow at Fredonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Logue passed away March 9 at his residence. Born February 20, 1930 in Grady County, he was the son of the late Elwood Logue, Sr and Ruth Harrell Logue. He was married to Jeanette Fewell Logue who survives. Mr. Logue was a veteran of the US Marines and worked at Balfour Lumber. Other survivors include his sons, Jeffery Elwood Logue and wife Merly of Thomasville, Gregory Roy Logue of Panama City, Fl and Victor Erwin Logue and wife Stephanie of Thomasville; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Samantha Logue Moree of Albany, Ina Grace Logue Newhouse, Myrtle Logue of Albany, Bonnie Logue Kelly of Savannah, Ga and brother, David Roger Logue of Washington State. He was preceded in death by sister, Eugenia Logue Bloodsworth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Hospice, 2700 North Oak St, Bld B, Valdosta Ga 31602. The family will receive friends before the service on Thursday 2-3pm at the funeral home.
