Emily Willis Foster

Services for Emily Willis Foster, 81 of Meigs will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 17, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Nichols will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Foster passed away August 15, 2012 at her residence. Born February 8, 1931 in Cairo, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Esmer Willis and Grace Peek Willis. On March 21, 1958 she married Lynn Dale Foster who preceded her in death. She was a retired teacher from Thomasville City Schools and was a member of the Church at Pleasant Grove. Survivors include her children Craig Foster and wife Denise of Macon and Janet Foster Lancaster of Meigs; brother, Eugene Willis of Meigs and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Alan Lancaster and sisters, Olivia Evans and Lell Young. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 16 at the funeral home.
