Emma Morse Beaty

Funeral services for Emma Morse Beaty, 82, will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private. Mrs. Beaty passed into the arms of her Savior on December 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Beaty of 58 years. Mrs. Beaty was born January 17, 1934 to AJ and Mamie Morse, their only daughter. Three brothers – J.B., Jesse and Edward completed her childhood family. She attended school in Brooks County and after graduation, married her sweetheart. She and Murray built a home and family in rural Pavo. Four children were born from this union – Kay, Johnny (John), Amy and Leann. Mrs. Beaty raised her family and worked as a homemaker for many years. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and held various offices and served where she was needed. She was a woman of faith with a heart of service and compassion for others. Her home was always open to her family, friends, her neighbors and anyone who needed a place to call home. She was an expert with a sewing machine and opened her own business, Country Lane Bridal. She blessed many brides with custom designed wedding gowns. She also designed pageant dresses, and was thrilled when one of her dresses went to the Miss America Pageant. Mrs. Beaty formed a quilting club in her community and enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well. She loved the holidays and baking for her family and loved ones. She was a gracious hostess. Mrs. Beaty is survived by her son, John Beaty, daughters, Kay (Hiroshi) Maeno, Amy (Scotty) Davis, Leann Beaty (friend Tracy Edmondson); grandchildren, Tiffany (Ken) Jackson, Dustin Maeno and fiancé Kristen Fritzsche, Anna Davis, Sam Davis and one great grandchild, Emma Jackson; brother, Jesse (Julie) Morse; brother-in-law Stanley Beaty; sister-in-law Glenda (Billy) Fort, and host of nieces and nephews and others.
