Funeral services for Emma Jewel Yarbrough Barwick, 95, of Thomasville are 2 pm, Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Barnetts Creek Baptist Church with interment in church cemetery. The Rev. Leon Vanlandingham and Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate. Pallbearers are Dustin Seay, Corey Barwick, Scott Barwick, Dean Dotson, Bud Gay and Steve Lawler. Mrs. Barwick died May 26, 2008 at Camellia Gardens. Born January 20, 1913 in Ben Hill County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas Yarbrough and Mary Ella Williams Yarbrough. On November 1, 1936 in Beachton Ga, she married Albert Fredrick Barwick who preceded her in death on November 15, 1973. She was a homemaker, a member of Barnetts Creek Baptist Church, she was Miss Camellia Gardens 2006 and Miss Georgia Nursing Home 2006. Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Paul W & Martyle Barwick of Thomasville, grandchildren, Donna Kay Barwick Seay and husband Victor of Boston, Michael Paul Barwick and wife Susan of Thomasville, Chrissie Barwick Bryant and husband Carey of Thomasville, James M. Barwick and wife Sarah of Coolidge, great-grandchildren, Natalie Seay Massey and husband Rusty of Portland Or, Dustin Seay of Boston, Corey Barwick and wife Allison, Scott Barwick, Jessica Barwick, Hayley Bryant, Courtney Bryant all of Thomasville, Ashton Barwick, Meghan Barwick and Carson Barwick all of Coolidge, 1 great great-grandson Kennon Barwick of Thomasville, sister-in-law, Thelma Yarbrough of Jacksonville, Fl and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother and sisters, Felton Yarbrough, Austin Yarbrough, John Bubba Yarbrough, Mable Y. Gibson, Cornelia Yarbrough and Ruby Y. Bruner.
