Services for Emmett Leon Duncan of Pavo, are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Antioch Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Matt Stacy and the Rev. Jimmy Odom will officiate and interment is in Antioch Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the Men?s Sunday School Class at Antioch Baptist Church. Active pallbearers are Mark Tabor, Keith Hayes, Vance Cooper, Virgil Cooper, David Hampton and Don Vick. Mr. Duncan died May 15 at Hospitality Care Nursing Home. Born July 29, 1936 in Boston, GA he was the son of the late Joshua Alfred and Viola Cheek Duncan. On June 5, 1960 at Antioch Baptist Church he married Betty Fallin Duncan who survives. Other survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Leon and Lisa Duncan of Thomasville, Rev. Donnie and Jackie Duncan of Sycamore, GA, daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Robbie Simmons of Cairo, GA, Christina and Lee Austin of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Chris Duncan, Cassie Duncan, Trey Duncan, Alisha Duncan, Caleb Duncan, Travis Lee Simpson, Jr., Joseph Simpson, Chelsea Laing, India Laing; brothers, Frank Duncan of Camilla, sisters, Mary Jean Hiers, Berlin, GA and Sadie Pearson of Thomasville.
