Services for Era Lee Hjort of Thomasville are at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Clawson and the Rev. Waymon Cleveland will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hjort died July 24, at her residence. Born December 11, 1927 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late Henry Arthur and Pearl Bryant Knowles. On February 19, 1975 in Thomasville she married Peter W. Hjort who survives.
