Graveside services for Erma Ruby Vickers, 73, of Thomasville are 4:00 pm Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Laurel Hill cemetery. The Rev. Gary Conger will officiate. Mrs. Vickers died November 17, 2010 at her residence. Born February 24, 1937 in Necedah, WI, she was the daughter of the late Ira Young McGinnis. She was married to Gerald Vickers who preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Jeffrey Gerald Vickers, Sr. and wife Brenda of Thomasville and Marvin C. Vickers, daughter, Cheryl A. Fox and husband James of Hixson, TN; grandchildren, Jeffery Gerald Vickers, Jr., Jared Lee Vickers, Jilynn Marie Vickers Layton, Matthew Ryan Vickers, James Ashley Fox, Jr. and Robert Fox; sister, Gwen Hakes; brothers, Kermit McGinnis and Adrian McGinnis all of WI.
