Graveside services for Ernest Leroy Brock, Sr., 60 of Thomasville will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday October 3rd at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Clay Phillips will officiate. Ernest passed away Wednesday September 30th at Archbold Hospital. Born October 4, 1959 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Willian Frances Brock, Sr., and Carrie Marie Bevard Brock, who survives. He was a member of Rose City Church of Christ and was an artist at heart. He enjoyed writing, drawing, and painting. Ernest was a graduate of Thomas County Central High School and worked at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Allen & Allen Funeral Home as their grounds-keeper. Ernest took great pride in his work and loved to work outside and is well known around the community. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his mother; children, Earnest L. Brock, Jr., and wife Beatrice of Tallahassee, Fl and Alexia Brock of Thomasville; grandchildren, Earnestine Brock and Derrick Brock; brothers, Clarence Bevard and wife Barbara of Coolidge, Michael Bevard and wife Shirley of Thomasville, Randall Brock and wife Amelia of Ochlocknee, William Brock, Jr., and wife Trevitta of Thomasville, Daniel Brock and wife Tangelia of Ochlocknee, Clarence Brock of Atlanta; sister, Denise Brock of Thomasville; the mother of his children, Carrie Lee Brock of Thomaville and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
