Ernest E. Vonier

Services for Ernest E. Vonier of Pavo are at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Salem Baptist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Love and the Rev. Darrell Owens will officiate and interment will be in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Walker, Steve Shepard, Jason Redfearn, Isaac Lamb, Jason Murphy and Jake Jarvis. Mr. Vonier died Feb. 15, at his residence. Born March 11, 1915 in Thomas Co., GA he was the son of the late Daniel David and Martha Willis Vonier. On October 23, 1934 he married Margaret Pafford Vonier who survives. Mr. Vonier was a member of Kennedy Chapel and was a retired Farmer. Other survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Eunice and Edward Shepard of Thomasville, Dorothy Jean Plymel wife of the late W. J. Plymel, Julia and Gerald Kearney, sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Kay Vonier all of Pavo, Bob and Shirley Redfearn of Cairo, GA, brother, Lamar Vonier of Cleveland, GA, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
