Services for Ernest Jeffrey Smith of Thomasville will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Horne will officiate and interment will be in Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton, Ga. Mr. Smith died October 21, 2006 at his residence. Born September 2, 1961, in Albany, Ga, he was the son of Ernest L. Smith of Thomasville and Barbara Vickers & Walter Couch, of Cordele, Ga, who survive. Mr. Smith was a construction worker and attended Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Survivors include Daughter Georgia Lynn Smith of Augusta, Ga, brother & sister-in-law, Tony Lamar & Marie Smith of Macon, Ga, brothers, Kevin Lamar Smith and Ernest Lamar Smith, both of Thomasville, sister & brother-in-law, Lisa Marie & Neil McGee of Cordele, Ga. grandmother, Marie Vickers of Macon, Ga. He was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Lamar Smith, paternal grandparents, Alred & Lillie Mae Smith, and maternal grandfather, Erma Lee Vickers.
