Ernie "Buddy" Montgomery

Funeral services for Ernie A. (Buddy) Montgomery, 65, of Thomas County, will be held at 2:00PM Monday, November 03, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mack Luke will officiate and the interment will be held at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Montgomery passed away on October 30, 2014 in West Palm Beach, FL. Born January 12, 1949, in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of the late Ernie Lee and Mary Jane Harrison Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was the manager of Big Star Foods and was a member of New Growth Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include sister Zee Oliveri of CA; nieces Mechelle Blanco of FL and Sherry Monroe of CA; adoptive niece Quaina McMan Oliveri; nephew John Perkins of CA and several great nieces and nephews, also several great-great nieces and nephews.
