Eugenia (Jean) Inez Brinson

Services for Eugenia “Jean” Inez Brinson will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Laurel Hill Cemetery and Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Jean passed away May 22, 2020 at her residence. Born October 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Eugene Brooks and Marion Inez Brooks Colvin. Jean was married for 58 years to Donald Heath Brinson Sr., who preceded her in death. She was an active member of Dawson Street Baptist Church, and loved the ladies in her Sunday school class. After working many years, Jean retired as a Cosmetologist. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a sweet spirit and loved the Lord. She is survived by her children, Donald Heath “Donnie” Brinson, Jr (Janice) of Beachton and Tina Brinson Barfield (Mark) of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Heath Brinson, Chelsea Brinson, Darby Nichols, Clint Nichols, Tyler Nichols, Amanda Bennett (Jeff), Hillary Midler (Michael) and Juliana Barfield; brothers John Brooks (Emily) of Dallas, TX, Randy Brooks of South Dakota, and Tim Brooks (Yvonne) of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Joan Brinson Fleetwood (James) and Diane Brinson Williams (Tommy). She was preceded in death by her sisters Penny Hadsell, Anne Brock, and Rose Gonzalez.
