Eunice Reagan Nesmith

Funeral services for Eunice Reagan NeSmith, 93 of Ochlocknee will be held at 11AM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Reverend Nathan Fowler and Reverend Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will follow at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Ms. NeSmith passed away December 18 at Archbold Hospital. Born September 30, 1924 in Ochlocknee, she was the daughter of the late Roy Reagan and Jewell Brinson Reagan. On August 14, 1946 she married Theo NeSmith, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church and worked in the laundry department at Southwestern State Hospital. She loved getting dressed up and going dancing at the Pelham Jamboree. This is something she did into her 80’s. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking and providing for others. She loved her family and enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and teaching them about nature. She is survived by her children, Wanda N. Parker of Ochlocknee, Marie N. Hall(Don) of Meigs, Dorothy F .Covington(Henry) of Donaldsonville and David Fielding(Margaret) of Social Circle; grandchildren, Bruce Covington(Kathy), Cherl Belisle(Walter), David Fielding, Jr(Joy), Donna Fielding, Donnie Hall and Waylon Parker(Mary); great grandchildren, Emily, Ean, Tyler, Anna, Sarah, Brianna and Dylan; numerous nieces and nephews and 2 heart sons, Alfred Burgess of Thomasville and Dennis Cox of Ochlocknee. She was preceded in death by siblings, Monteen Rehberg, Alice Chastain and L.J. Reagan; daughter-in-law, Barbara Fielding and son-in-law, Bernard Parker. The family will receive friends 10-11am, at the church before the service.
