Eunice Hartley Majors Turner

Funeral service for Eunice Hartley Majors Turner, 89, of Ochlocknee will be 11:00AM, Friday, May 6, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Billy Majors will officiate and interment will be at Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Mrs. Turner passed away on May 3, 2016 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born December 10, 1926 in Metcalfe, she was the daughter of the late C.M. and Gladys Hancock Hartley. In 1946 she married the late James W. Majors. He passed in 1967. She married G.H. “Bud” Turner on June 16, 1987, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Turner retired from Coats & Clark after working for 34 years. Survivors include daughter Gail Majors Lawhorne and husband Donnie of Thomasville; son James Ronnie Majors and wife Jonanne of Thomasville; grandchildren Kym Hiers – Brinson, Joseph Hiers Jr. (Jo Jo), Jamie Majors and wife Brandy, Tina Majors Carson and husband Bill, Jeff Majors and Justin Majors and wife Becky; great grandchildren Bailee Hiers, Nic Brinson, Madeline Carson, Adrienne Carson, Julianne Carson, Will Carson, Gracie Majors, Eli Majors, and Brantlee Majors; and great - great grandchild Owen Rogers. She was preceded in death by her brother H.A. Hartley of Albany. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
