Services for Eunie Melissa Clifton of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Mike Keown will officiate and interment will be in Oaky Grove Cemetery in Berrien County, GA on Saturday at 2:00PM. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Mrs. Clifton died February 2, 2006 at Hospitality Care. Born April 17, 1908 on Irvin Co., GA she was the daughter of the late George and Susie Grantham Giddens. On November 9, 1928 in Irvin Co., GA. she married Tommy Elliott Clifton who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Newark Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Margaret Lucille Drawdy of Thomasville, sons and daughters-in-law, Harold Elliott and Stephanie Clifton of Beaufort, S. C., George Robert and Mary Clifton of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Martha Sue and James M. Woods of Lilburn, GA; sister, Susie Mae Ashley of Gainesville, GA; eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
