Evelyn Tryan Bracewell

Funeral services for Evelyn Tryan Bracewell will be held Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Allen and Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Andy Fowler officiating.

Mrs. Bracewell, 90, Passed away Saturday, April the 6th at Archbold Hospital. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Fred Z and Mary Castleberry Tryan.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Ray Bracewell July 21st, 1995, and two daughters Susan Wallace, May 27th, 2022 of Pikeville NC and Marla Morris October 15th, 2015 of Thomasville GA.

Evelyn is survived by two sisters Doris Cassidy of Marietta GA and Mildred Anderson of Thomasville and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, she loved them.

Evelyn is also survived by special friend Jeanette Stephens.

Evelyn was an outstanding seamstress and dedicated homemaker, she loved gospel music and enjoyed playing the piano for the quartets which she and Ray were members of. She was a dedicated member of the Thomasville First Baptist Church before her illness.

Evelyn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
