Evelyn Drew Rehberg, 85, passed away on September 20, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cairo, Georgia on September 8, 1917 to the late Emmitt Groover and Mary Lottie Cone Drew. Mrs. Rehberg attended school in Cairo and graduated from Cairo High School in 1936. Mrs. Rehberg was married to Luke Rehberg, who preceded her in death in 1997. She was retired from Southwestern State Hospital and was an active member of Ochlocknee Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, volunteer and friend that will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs Rehberg is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Keith and LouEllen Courson of Ochlocknee; a son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Cyndi Rehberg of Thomasville; a sister, Helen Drew Herschell of Albany; a brother, Jack Cone Drew and wife Joann of Cairo; and grandchildren, Shelly Rehberg Toth and husband Troy of Thomasville; Shane Rehberg and wife, Shelley of Birmingham, AL; Clint Courson of Macon; and Mason Rehberg of Thomasville; Great grandchildren, Heather Toth of Valdosta; and twin girls arriving soon. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Saturday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2002 at 4:00PM in Laurel Hill Cemetery on 10th Street.
