Services for Evelyn Hatcher The Fish Lady of Thomasville are at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tim Robson and the Rev. Wendell Hollingsworth will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hatcher died August 19, 2004 at the home of her daughter Debbie Crump. Born January 30, 1930 in Cairo, GA she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ruth Hester Reagan. On November 1, 1947 in Meigs, GA, she married L. C. Hatcher, Jr. who preceded her in death. She was a member of Westside Baptist and the owner of Hatcher?s Seafood where she was behind the counter as main cashier serving the public for 53 years. Her motto at Hatcher's Seafood was ?Eat?em up and hurry back.? Survivors include son, Lavon Hatcher of Thomasville daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and James Bell of Charlotte, NC, and Debbie and Sam Crump of Metcalf, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Robyn Hatcher of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jeff Hatcher of Knoxville, TN, Clay Crump of McDonough, GA, Callie Crump of Jacksonville, FL, Evan Rosenbaum of Orlando, FL and Dana Rosenbaum of Wilmington, NC; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Crump of McDonough, GA; brother, George Reagan of Ocean City, NJ and sister, Hazel Reagan Floyd of Warner Robins, GA. She was preceded in death by brothers, Aubury Reagan, Ernest Reagan, Wilburn Reagan, Hershel Reagan, Odell Reagan and Wyman Bogy Reagan and sister, Auburn Reagan.
