Services for Mrs. Evelyn L. Tuggle, 76, of Thomasville will be Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at 2:00PM at Dawson Street Baptist Church. Rev. Rutledge Courtney and Rev. Hugh Rockett will officiate with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Tuggle died Monday, May 6, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born February 26, 1926 in Grady Co., Ga. she was the daughter of the late Emmett Henry and Katie White Lindsay. On January 20, 1946 in Grady Co., Ga. she married Hill C. Tuggle who preceded her in death. Mrs. Tuggle was a retired secretary from Tuggle Brothers Construction Co. and was also retired from Walmart. She was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Survivors are daughter, Patricia T. Braun of Thomasville and daughters & sons-in-law, Polly T. & Kenneth R. Quattlebaum of Macon, Ga. and Joy T. & William J. Cox of McDonough, GA., sisters, Sue Ferrell of Thomasville, Artie Tyler of Albany, Bernice Land of Hartwell, GA., brother, Buddy Lindsay of Denton, TX, grandchildren, Brian Hill Braun, Lindsay Braun, Jon Paul & Sheri Braun, Sally Quattlebaum, Catherine Cox and Robert Tuggle Cox and great grandchild, Devin Riley Braun.The family will receive friends at Allen & Allen Funeral Home from 7-9PM of Tuesday.
