Services for Evelyn Lucas will be held at 2:00PM Sunday February 4, 2018 at Thomasville Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Terry Barnard officiating. Mrs. Lucas passed away on Thursday February 1, 2018 at Rose City Health and Rehabilitation in Thomasville. Born on March 16, 1939 in Coolidge, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Ernest Key and Myrtle Lunsford Key. She was a homemaker and a member of Thomasville Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Lucas was married Elisha W. Lucas who passed away in July of 2004. She is survived by her daughters Tracy McGrotha of Thomasville, Pam Asbell of Thomasville, Diane Lucas of Thomasville, Beth Lucas of Thomasville, and Krista Lucas Anderson of Katy, Tx; brother Doyle Key of Cordele, Ga.; sisters Margie Highsmith of Thomasville and Judy Hutchinson of Boston, Ga; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
