Graveside services for Evelyn Pearson Terry of Thomasville are at11:00AM on Friday, September 23, 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Mississippi Street. The Rev. Keith Coward will officiate. Mrs. Terry died September 21, at her residence. Born September 16, 1914 in Zenith, GA she was the daughter of the late Willie Edgar Pearson and Clara Jo Slaughter Pearson. On August 11, 1940 in Ft. Valley, GA she married William Henry Terry, Jr. who preceded her in death after 64 years of marriage. Mrs. Terry was a member of Dawson Street Methodist Church and was a retired nurse from Archbold Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Oglethorpe Infirmary and Duke University. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Terri Terry of Macon, GA, Zack and Susan Terry of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Nebbie Terry and Bill Maslin of Starkville, MS and daughter-in-law, Teresa Terry of Macon; nine grandchildren and five sisters.
