Evelyn Ward Pumphrey

Services for Evelyn Ward Pumphrey of Thomasville will be held on Friday, May 24th at 11 am at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. The interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Ms. Pumphrey died on Saturday, May 18th at her residence in Quincy, FL at the age of 88. Born May 21, 1935 in Decatur Co., GA she was the daughter of the late Luther Paul Ward and Nora Davis Bown. She was married to Wallace Hugh Pumphrey who now precedes her in death. Ms. Pumphrey retired from the Gadsden County School Board. She is survived by her sons Donald Moody (Brenda McCullough) of Quincy and William Moody (Sandra) of Crawfordville; grandchildren Kerry Moody, Josh Moody, Amanda Moody, and Will Moody followed by numerous great-grandchildren.
