Services for Evelyn Seawright Owens Hand, 75, of Coolidge are 11:00 am, Friday, November 19, 2010 at Patten Holiness Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Greg Player will officiate and interment will be in Big Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Hand passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Born March 3, 1935 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Vernon Seawright and Gladys Faulkner Seawright. In 1986 in Coolidge she married John Lee Hand, who survives and was married to Cecil Owens, who preceded her in death in 1983. Other survivors include daughters, Yvonne Bennett and husband Bill of Atlanta and Patricia Jenkins and husband Randy of Moultrie; sons, Vernon Owens and wife Julie and Peter G. Owens and wife Rebecca Ann, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Shannon Hipp, Carrie Conley, Aaron Bennett, Jenny Cronk, Paula Bishop, Heather Hancock, Brandi Jenkins, Randy Jenkins, Jason Owens, Ashlee Brooks, Hunter Owens, Amanda Hamilton, Wayne Owens and Daniel Morris; 18 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Annie Ruth Bryant of Meigs, Eldon Seawright Willie Mae of Ochlocknee, Grady Seawright Doris of Douglas, James Seawright, Hazel Jones Jay, Dorothy Lewis Judson and Jeannette Bozeman all of Coolidge and special nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by son Cecil Wayne Owens. Memorials may be made to Patten Holiness Church, 10755 Hwy 122, Thomasville, Ga 31757.
