Evelyn Smith

Services for Evelyn Smith will be held Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11 AM at the Providence Baptist Church and internment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Ms. Smith passed away July 21, 2019 at the Rose City Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Alvie Walker and Ruth Lorene Walden. She was married to Harold Smith who preceded her in death. Ms. Smith worked as a clerk for Modern Cleaners. She is survived by her children Lynn Smith (Betty) of Port Deposit, MD, Chyrel Zeitlin (Greg) of Knoxville, TN, Karen Musser (Jim) of Gastonia, NC, and Paul Smith of Lake City, FL; sister Bonnie Wilson (Roland) of Cape Sand Blast, FL and sister-in-law Jenny Walker of Charleston, SC; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth Walker and Julian Walker. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
