Services for Evelyn Myrtice Booth Vonier, 81, of Pavo will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, January 11 at Salem Baptist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Dr. Milton Gardner and Rev. Thilmon Vonier will officiate and interment will be in Salem Cemetery. Born July 8, 1930 in Oglethorpe County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Mack Booth and Pearl Graham Booth. On June 10, 1951 she married Ronald B. Vonier, who survives. Mrs. Vonier taught school at Pavo School and Central High School. She was a homemaker, Sunday School teacher and enjoyed genealogy. Other survivors include her children, Kim Ingle and husband Bob of Arlington, TX., Kathy Horton and husband Jeffrey of Montgomery, AL., Jill Herndon and husband Mark of Pavo, Nathan Vonier and wife Connie of Valdosta; grandchildren, Joshua Ingle, Burt Horton, Jane Horton, Ashlee Horton, Bart & wife Jade Herndon, Erin Hall, Kelsey Hall, Sadee Scarborough, Russ Vonier; great grandchildren, Neya Herndon, Kinley Herndon and Bohen Herndon. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Lauren Herndon and brother, William Bill Booth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 114 A Mimosa Dr, Thomasville, Ga 31792 or Salem Baptist Church Missions, 10307 Salem Rd, Pavo, Ga 31778.
