Faith Hope Martin

Faith Hope Martin, born on October 28, 1960, in Homer, Michigan, to the late Harold and Lenora Wiker, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, in Cairo, Georgia. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Faith will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, artistic talents, and unwavering love for her family.

Faith graduated from Okeechobee High School in Florida and went on to become a forklift driver for Owens-Brockway in Lakeland, Florida. After moving to Georgia, she worked for Timkin in Cairo and dedicated many years of her life to serving others at Harvey's Supermarket in Thomasville. She found joy in her paper crafts and painting, creating beautiful works of art that brought happiness to those around her. Faith was also an avid collector of plants and pets. She will be greatly missed by her cherished dog, Kirby. A devoted wife, she enjoyed hunting with her husband, Curtis Odell Martin, Jr., whom she married in 1990.

Faith is survived by her loving children, Michael Alexander (Shelley) of Zealand, Michigan, and Stacey Penny (Greg) of Bainbridge, Georgia. Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren: Kyle Alexander, Eric Alexander, Greyson Johnson (Madison), Raven Johnson (Zach), and Matthew Johnson (Mary). Faith was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. No services will be held at this time.
