Graveside services for Fannie Mae Zeigler Poulk, 80, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner will officiate. Mrs. Poulk died March 31 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born June 11, 1927, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of Josephous Cratt and Anna Zeigler. She was married to Alvin Poulk, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She served as president of the WMU. Survivors include daughter, Sandy Kirkley of Marietta; son, Alvin Eugene Poulk, Jr. of Thomasville; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Beth Poulk of Thomasville and Gary and Elnora Poulk of Lynn Haven, Fla.; grandchildren, Talia King, Stephen Kirkley, Stacy Poulk, Stephanie Poulk and Samuel Poulk; sisters, Elizabeth Carter of Thomas County and Carolyn Farris of Morrow.
