Graveside services for Fannie Mae Bullock Miller, 85, of Thomasville, are at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Laurel Hill Cemetery on Alabama Street. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mrs. Miller died July 17. Born February 6, 1924, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Susie Mary Rollins Johnson. She was married to Dell Bullock who preceded her in death in 1967 and James Miller who preceded her in death in 1993. She was a graduate of Boston High School and was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller was the owner and operator of Carroll Hill Grocery for over 65 years. She loved her business and customers and built loving relationships with them throughout the years. She was always eager to give and help people who were in need and to share witness with them. Survivors include children, Ann Delaney of Thomasville, Wynelle Kirkland and husband, Sam of Thomasville and Wayne Bullock and wife, Patrice of Thomasville; grandchildren, Gunter Bullock, Blakely Bullock, Clay Delaney, Scott Delaney and wife, Donna, Lynk Kirkland, Joli Kirkland, Alexa Crosby and Ashley Weaver; 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dawson Street Baptist Church, 1025 N. Dawson St., Thomasville, GA. 31792 or to Gideons International, P.O. Box 2361, Thomasville, GA. 31799. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
