Services for Ferris Merrill Taylor of Thomasville are at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Taylor died February 16, 2006 at Hospitality Care. Born August 1, 1915 in Thomas Co., GA he was the son of the late William H. and Willa Hutchings Taylor. He was married for 68 years to Mary Clifford Thomason Taylor who survivors. Mr. Taylor was the owner of Taylor?s Grocery on Pinetree Blvd. and was a United States Navy veteran. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law Meryl and Gordon Fisher of Memphis, TN, son and daughter-in-law Ferris and Cathy Taylor of Thomasville, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
