Flora Ann Deason

Funeral services for Flora "Ann" Deason will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at First Newark Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Brooks and Jimmy Clanton officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2pm prior to the service on Wednesday. Ms. Ann Deason, age 76, passed away on July 23, 2021. She was born in Whigham on June 2, 1945. Ann was a Thomasville High School graduate class of 1963. She worked at Commercial Bank in the Accounting Department for 42 years and part-time at Archbold Memorial Hospital for 21 years. She was a longtime member of First Nazarene Church, but currently attending First Newark Baptist Church.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Snipes Hines, father Bobby C. Hines, and brother Bob C. Hines. She is survived by her sister Cheree Croft (Bert) of Thomasville; brothers George Robison (Melissa) of Thomasville, and Danny Deason (Annette) of Monticello, Fl.; nieces Blair Croft of Quincy, Fl., Mamie Elizabeth Browning of Crawfordville, Fl., Mhari Deason Gay of Crawfordville, Fl.; nephews Byron Croft of San Jose, Ca., Jordon Robison of Thomasville, Jarrett Robison of Thomasville, and Chris Deason of Crawfordville, Fl.; great-nephews Robert J. Dykes and Nathan Blackburn both of Crawfordville, Fl.; and a special cousin Kattie Pilkonton of Thomasville. Ann's final resting place will be Laurel Hill Cemetery.
