Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Garcia Maseda, of Monticello will be held Monday, August 5, 2002 at 2:00PM at the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Smith will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Maseda died Friday, August 2, 2002 at The Jefferson Nursing Center in Monticello. She is the wife of Edward Maseda of Monticello who she married in New York on October 5, 1946 who survives. She was a Registered Nurse and a member of the First Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband, Edward Maseda of Monticello; two daughters and son-in-laws, Teresa and Walter Larick of Monticello; and Rita and Scott Slaughter of Americus, Ga; and two grandchildren, Orlando Oliveras and Derek Liles and two great grandchildren, Wyatt Oliveras and Chelsea Oliveras; and 2 sisters, Dalia Aguilar of Atlanta and Violeta Fortes of Florida.
