Florence Hall Trawick passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 95. She and her late husband, Harry Lee Trawick, Sr., were married 73 years. She leaves behind her greatest treasures, her family, that she loved dearly. Five children and their spouses: Bob and Julia Trawick Braddy, Terry and Marcia Trawick Tanner, Steve and Dorothy Trawick Mauriello, Harry and Renee Trawick, Jr,, Bill and Evelyn Trawick Hopkins. Eight grandchildren: Robert Braddy, Michael Tanner, Jonathan Tanner (Emily), Nicole Tanner Gentry (Jonathan), Jaclyn Tanner Milone (Bruno), Misty Trawick Darton (Will), Julia Hopkins Maxwell (Chuck), and Nicholas Hopkins (Meagan). 13 Great-grandchildren Christa Braddy Kiefer, Haley and Austin Tanner, Luke and Jacob Tanner, Levi and Lillian Gentry, Leonardo and Julietta Milone, Julianna and Shaela Darton, Jaclyn Maxwell and the youngest, Baby Hopkins, due in December 2022. Two Great-great-grandchildren, Sophia and Mia Kiefer. Step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren: Ted Lancaster, Tommy and Heather Meaker and children Makayla, Jordan, Zack, Laci Crawford and children Kailyn, Kaydon, Kashton. -Preceded in death by her late husband, Harry Lee Trawick, Sr, and three grandchildren: Christa Braddy, Michelle Tanner, and Brian Trawick.
She was the director and teacher of ABC Kindergarten until 1988, and an active member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Thomasville for many years. She loved teaching children and wanted to help give them the best beginning of their lives.
She will be lovingly remembered as the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 10526 US Highway 84 E, Thomasville, GA.
