Florrie Esther Sheffield

Services for Florrie Esther Sheffield of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at North Side Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Robert Jacobs, Rev. Morris Nichols and Rev. Ken Burgess will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jacob Stores, Jordon Stores, Jaxon Stores, Brandon Bozeman, Marcus Potrok and Joseph McGuire. Honorary pallbearers are Earl Quigg, Steve Beason, Donnie Beason, Dean Dotson, Norman Ludecks and Douglas McGill. Mrs. Sheffield died February 20 at Golden Living Center. Born Jan. 6, 1925 in Grand Ridge, FL she was the daughter of the late Thomas Selven Crawford and Cynthia Jane Bamberg. On Dec. 19, 1981 at Merrillville Baptist Church she married William Tim Sheffield who survives. Mrs. Sheffield was a meat packer for Sunnyland Foods. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Curt Crowe of Boston, GA. , grandchildren, Angela Beth Stores, Anita Marie Bozeman, Cheri Renee Potrok, Ricky Steve Hurst, Rex Allen Hurst, Rodney Hurst, eight great grandchildren, sister, Nadine Griffin of Ochlocknee, GA, brother, Raiford Crawford of Cairo, GA and sister, Mabel Waters of Plant City, FL. She was preceded in death by first husband, Aubrey Hurst, son, Billy Steve Hurst and brothers, Thomas Crawford and Herman Crawford.
