Services for Floyd ?Shorty? Raulerson, 77, of Panama City, longtime resident of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at Allen and Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Raulerson passed away Sunday, Feb. 21at Sea Breeze Nursing Home in Panama City. Born, Sept. 25, 1932, in Starke, Fla., he was the son of the late Joe and Onnie Forsyth Raulerson. He was married to Dorothy Allbritton Raulerson who preceded him in death. Mr. Raulerson was a veteran of the United States Army, in which, he served in the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Hurst Boiler and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include step-daughter, Ellen Jarmillo and husband, Ralph of Panama City Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Nick McElvain and wife, Heather and Alisha McElvain; great-grandchildren, Gauge, Marysa and Toby; sister, Daisy ?Lucy? Sarber of Orlando, Fla.; brother, Henry ?Pete? Raulerson of Orlando, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday.
