Floyd Thomas Huffmaster

Services for Floyd Thomas Huffmaster, Sr., of Thomasville are at 4:00PM on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Huffmaster died September 23, 2003 at Glen Mor Nursing Home. Born June 30, 1922 in Quitman, GA., he was the son of the late Henry Robert and Emma Johnson Huffmaster. On November 20, 1944 in Newnan, Ga. he married Euretha E. Huffmaster who preceded him in death. He was retired from Coats and Clarks after 41 years and was a United States Navy Veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, a life time member of the American Legion post 222 and served as post commander for 1 year. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert M. and Donna Lee Huffmaster of Thomasville, daughter-in-law, Donna Huffmaster of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Robert Huffmaster, Robyn Lombardi and Phoebe Holmes; great grandchildren, Hayden, Hayley and Hannah Holmes, Chandler Huffmaster and Madison Lombardi; step grandchildren, Tiffany Shafer, Steven, Crystal and Josh McEown; brothers, Jack Huffmaster of Newton, GA, Jason Huffmaster of Duncan, S.C., sisters, Lois Bennett of Brunswick and Edna Mae Tool of Macon, GA. He was preceded in death by a son Tommy Huffmaster. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Wednesday. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
