Fondren Lundy Benton

Funeral services for Fondren Lundy Benton, 82 of Moultrie, Ga, will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 2PM at Moultrie Church of God. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens and the Rev. Ricky McLaughlin will officiate. Mr. Benton passed away on April 01, 2013 at Colquitt County Regional Medical Center. Born September 06, 1930, he was the son of the late William Columbus and Ola Mae Hagan Benton. He was married to Mary Benton, who survives. He was a member of Moultrie Church of God and he also worked at the City of Thomasville as a heavy equipment operator. Other survivors include children Gail Benton Ridolfi, William Fondren Benton, Marcia Benton Skillingstad, David Lundy Benton; brothers William Franklin Eugene Benton; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Willie Mae Lynd, Alice Ophelia Mechele and Carrie Alberta Teel; and brothers William Albert Benton and Scott Whiddon Benton.
