Graveside services for Frances Andrews Stone, 86, of Thomasville are 10 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Leigh Ann Rayner will officiate. Mrs. Stone died September 16, 2008 at her residence. Born February 24, 1922 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late P C Andrews, Sr and Julia Stanaland Andrews. Mrs. Stone was a Thomasville High School graduate, a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College; a graduate of the University of Georgia, a Girl Scout Leader; Girl Scout Camp Director, Tri Hi Y Advisor; a member of Phi Kappa Phi Scholastic Fraternity and a founding of Thomasville Landmarks. She was an income tax advisor in Thomasville for 50 years and a timber farmer.
