Frances Joan Biernacki

Services for Frances Joan Biernacki (Joan) will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in the chapel of Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Joan passed away on February 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 26, 1929 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Albert Hassan and Catherine Arnold Hassan. Joan was married to Casimir Paul Biernacki who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved sister Bonita Cherry. Cas and Joan lived in South Bend until 1964, at which time they moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL before moving to Thomasville, GA in 1993. Cas and Joan lived a beautiful life with Jesus as their foundation. Joan was a homemaker throughout their married life, active in later years volunteering with Christians for Life and Hope Pregnancy Centers in South Florida. Her passions in life were serving Jesus Christ, supporting Israel, and the Pro-Life movement. Their four children, their spouses and 11 grandchildren survive her. One grandchild, Paul David Biernacki preceded her in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Lt Col Paul Michael Biernacki and wife Deborah with their 3 children Christina, Chad and James; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Dr. Michael Haney with their children Rachel, Mark, and Jonathan; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Kent Biernacki and wife Kathleen with his children Stephen Jr. and Jennifer; and daughter and son-in law, Cassandra and Ronald Bonds with her children Jessica, Sarah and Jackson. Joan is also survived by her 25 great grandchildren. Her loving family is eternally grateful for her strength of character, her quest for learning, and her love for Jesus Christ. She will also be remembered for her sense of humor, playful spirit, joyous laughter, and her love of playing games with family and friends.
