Graveside service for Frances Clariece Warr Elmore will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Clariece Elmore, age 89, of Thomasville passed away on October 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Clayton, Alabama on August 27, 1933, to the late Clarence Warr and Myrtle (Hodges) Hagler. She graduated from Clayton High School. She married Donald R. Elmore who passed on August 15, 1999. Clariece enjoyed her time as a member of the Garden Club of Georgia where she served as a Flower Show Judge all over the Southeast and even in the Rose Show of Thomasville. She was also a member of the U.S. Air Force Officers’ Wives Club. Survivors include son George Elmore; daughter Tara Elmore-Smith; grandchildren Tiffany Lea Elmore, Stefanie Blythe Wheeler, and Whitney Jane Elmore; great-grandchildren Eli Russo, Ryanne Stallings-Wheeler, and Ava Sue Wheeler; and brother Robert Warr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Elmore, and siblings Eugene Warr, Murray Warr, Jeanette Norton, Bevie Ann Polhemus, and Charles Warr.
