Frances Pauline Garbett

Graveside services for Frances Pauline Garbett of Shellman, Ga. will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2003 at 2:00 PM, at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate. Mrs. Garbett died May 23, 2003 in Cuthbert, Ga. She was born on December 30, 1914 in Brooks Co. and was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gus Lamon. Mrs. Garbett was a homemaker and was married to Broward Garbett who has preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Sara & Jimmy Martin of Shellman, Ga., grandson Todd Martin of Savanah, Ga., granddaughter & spouse Janice & Scot Dowdy of Valdosta, great grandson Cole Dowdy of Valdosta, brother William James Lamon of Chuluota, Fl. She was preceded in death by a brother Sam Lamon of Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
