Frank A. Barnes

Frank Addison Barnes, age 52, of Merriville passed away on July 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Thomasville on March 23, 1971, to MaryAnne Strickland Wahl, who survives and the late Frank N. Barnes. He married Pamela Ann Riles Barnes on October 30, 1992, who also survives him. Other survivors include his daughters Franki MaryAnne Barnes, and Avery JoeAnn Barnes; grandchild Addison Grace Chastain; sister Rachel Brinson (Ashley) and her daughters Taylor Brinson, and Codee Brinson (Casey); sister Melissa Clanton (Michael) and her children Leah Linderman (Mark), Chad Clanton (Mary Jo), and Jenna Clanton; sister Laura Christie (Walker) and her children Jackson Christie, and Olivia Christie; great-nephew Casey Myers Jr.; and aunt Patricia Barnes-Brookshire. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Glenn and Mary Strickland, paternal grandparents Addison “Add” and Uvalda “Pete” Barnes, and step-father Ernest “Buddy” Wahl.
