Graveside services for Frank Blue Tapley, 77, of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Brother Johnny Cooper will officiate. Mr. Tapley passed from this life on June 5 at the Presbyterian Nursing Home in Quitman. He was born in Etowah County, Ala. on August 18, 1930. He was the son of the late Fred and Annie Belle Tapley. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Tillie Walker Tapley; brother, Alvin Tapley Janell of Montgomery, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Ethel Thompson Lamar, Hattie Graham and Dorothy Tapley all of Thomasville, Ruth Vinson of Jefferson, Ga.; nieces, Amanda Tapley of Sarasota, Fla., Barbara Kenney of Palmetto, Fla., Cathy Lewis of Thomasville; nephews, Michael Laminack of Orlando, Fla., Terry Laminack, Thomas Graham, Randall Graham of both of Thomasville, Chris Vinson, Steve Vinson both of Jefferson.
