Fred Lee Sanders Sr., age 56, passed away on October 3, 2025, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 23, 1968, in Augusta, Georgia to Herbert Sanders and Melba Jean Johnson Hall. Fred proudly served in the United States Army, achieving the rank of PFC 3 during his two years of dedicated service. In March of 1989, Fred married Regina Parker in Thomasville, and together they created a loving family. Fred had a diverse career, working as a truck driver, security officer, road construction worker, and warehouse worker. Fred graduated from Thomas County Central High School and earned his Associate's Degree as well as his ASE certification from college. He also completed his training at AIT Truck Driving Academy. Fred was a devoted member of the Rose City Church of God. He cherished family time, loved traveling, enjoyed coffee, and treasured meals shared with loved ones. His passions included fishing, biking, working in the yard, and making everyone laugh. Above all, he delighted in being "Pop Pop" to his 11 precious grandchildren. Fred leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Regina; his children, Fred Sanders Jr., Joshua Lloyd Sanders, and Christopher Ryan Sanders, all of Thomasville; and his 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Travis Giddons; a sister, Donna Gayle Sanders; daughters-in-law Samantha Sanders and Kayla Sanders; and his son's fiancée, Alyssa Heaton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Hazel Johnson, and his grandmother, Lottie B. Hall. Honorary pallbearers include Fred Sanders Jr., Joshua Sanders, Christopher Sanders, Daniel Swymer, Christopher Sanders Jr., and Eli Cook. His family invites all who knew and loved Fred to celebrate his life and legacy at a service on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Allen & Allen Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Chapel, at 3 pm. A visitation will be held at Allen & Allen Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5-7 pm.
