Memorial services for Fredricka Jayne Brockway Langford, 63, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Trinity Anglican Church, meeting at Beit Shalom Messianic Synagogue, 1425 E. Jackson Street, Thomasville, GA. 31792. The Rev. James L. Hobby and Rev. Sharon Hobby will officiate. Mrs. Langford died Sept. 13 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born, May 9, 1946, in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Jack W., Sr. and Ginger Edwards Brockway. On Sept. 21, 1968, in Highlands, N.C., she married Geary C. Langford, Sr., who survives. She was the prior owner of The Gray Cottage and Alice Inman Specialty Shop both in Highlands, N.C. She presently worked at Sampson's Paint and Decorating, Inc., where she brightened many people's lives through color. Survivors include children, Kearsley Langford Johnson and husband, Wallace of Thomasville, Geary Ford Langford, Jr. of Thomasville and Ginger C. Langford of Vernon, Conn.; grandchildren, Karlyn Johnson and Mason Johnson; nephews, Jack W. Brockway, III, Tony Brockway, Brian Brockway and Chuck Clay. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack W. Brockway, Jr. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Trinity Anglican Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 112, Thomasville, GA. 31799.
