Graveside services for Gayna Shuttleworth Davis will be held Friday September 26, 4 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville, Ga. Ms. Davis was born February 23, 1952 in Burlington, Vermont. She lived and raised her family in Thomasville for over twenty years. Ms. Davis was an active member of the community and member of various organizations such as, Junior Service League where she served as co-chairman, Thomas County Humane Society, and Safe Haven. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Ms. Davis entered into rest at her home in North Augusta, South Carolina following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her mother, Amanda Zardecki Shuttleworth of Mayo, FL., her children, Brooke Davis Hinson, Amanda Davis Foote, J.C. Davis V, and Betsey Davis. Grandchildren: Harper Hinson, Hayes Hinson, Jasper Davis VI, and Alexander Davis. Also close loved ones, son in law Lewis Foote, and daughter in law Laura Ann Davis. She was preceded in death by her father Edwin Lewis Shuttleworth, and brother Todd Forbes Shuttleworth. Gay was a loving and free spirit who will be greatly missed.
