Gene Edward Eddings, Sr.

Funeral services for Gene Edward Eddings, Sr. will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Larry E. Bell will officiate. Mr. Eddings died February 3, 2004 in Gainsville, Fl. Born May 18, 1940 in Thomas County he was the son of Louise Eddings. Mr. Eddings was of Baptist faith and was a truck driver. He was married to Sandra Eddings of Coolidge who survives. Other survivors include his son Gene Edward Eddings Jr. of Coolidge; brothers Pete Summerlin and Duke Summerlin both of Frost Proof, Fl.; sisters Connie Loirin of Ft. Meade, Md. and Maybelle Whitney of Orlando Fl.; one grandchild; he was preceded in death by his daughter Dawn Eddings Eubanks.
