Funeral services for Geneva Hartsfield Jenkins, 80, of Thomasville will be held 3:00PM on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Alton Harper will officiate and interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins passed away on April 23, 2015 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born March 10, 1935 in Metcalfe, GA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lewis and Navy Bloodworth Hartsfield. She was married to Vance Jenkins, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Jenkins loved spending time with her family and her beloved pet Rusty. She also loved cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. Survivors include daughters Brenda K. Brown of Thomasville, Terry B. Harper and husband Flip and Cynthia Ann Brown all of Camilla, GA; grandchildren Justin L. Griffin and wife Antionette, Autumn L. Manriquez and husband Ricky, Joseph R. Harper and wife Mandi, Brooke Massey and husband Johnny Lee, Brandi Edwards, Brittany Edwards and Steve Edwards, Jr.; greatgrandchildren Amya Ellis, Skylar Griffin, Sierra Griffin, Caleb Harper, Weston Harper, and Lee Massey; sisters Allean Alday of Tallahasse, FL, Faye Butler of Cairo, Gwen Speigner of Thomasville; step-son Brian T. O’Sullivan special family member Steve Edwards and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Freeman Hartsfield and Earl Hartsfield and sister Christine Alt. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday at 2:00PM until 3:00PM at the funeral home.
