Georganna S Carroll, 77, of Thomasville, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024 at her residence. Born on December 15, 1946, in Big Lick, West Virginia, Georganna was named in honor of her late uncle, a courageous soldier who tragically lost his life during the Normandy invasion in World War II. She was the cherished daughter of the late Floradel Hall Wolfe and Earl Stump.

Georganna married her beloved husband, Thomas Carroll, in Grafton, Ohio, and dedicated many years of her life as a valued secretary at Georgia Pines. She attended services at Pineland Baptist Church. Georganna enjoyed sewing. She had a fondness for travel and reading. Known for her homemade cards, she delighted in sharing her creations with loved ones through the mail.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 56 years, Thomas Carroll, and will be dearly missed by her siblings Clara Jane Stump of Elyria, Ohio, Edith Sharon Wilford (James) of Elyria, Ohio, Wayne Lewis Stump of Elyria, Ohio, and Karen Ann Powell (Jack) of Wellington, Ohio, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as brothers, Kenneth Stump, Charles Stump, and Philip Stump.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Georganna's life will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2 pm at Pineland Baptist Church. Reverend Ricky Whitley will officiate the ceremony. Donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia in Georganna's memory.
