George Robert Baston

George "Bob" Robert Baston was born on April 21, 1949, in Pensacola, Florida to the late Robert and Beatrice Brigham Baston. Bob was married to Sandra Elizabeth Arledge, who survives. He worked as a special education teacher at Baldwin County Schools in Alabama and was a baseball and football coach. He was also a preacher and an elder. Bob enjoyed hunting turkey and deer, as well as fishing. He loved playing with his grandkids. Bob was survived by his wife, his children Liz Barrow (William) of Milton, Florida, and Stan Baston (Katie) of Ochlocknee, Georgia; grandchildren Olivia Barrow, Allison Baston, Emily Kate Baston, and Jake Baston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with visitation one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 AM. The interment will be in Ochlocknee City Cemetery.
