George Marshall Beckham

Memorial services for George Marshall Beckham, 71 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Mr. Beckham passed away April 26, 2021 at his residence. Born August 20, 1949 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late James Newkirk Beckham and Katie Peacock Beckham. Mr. Beckham graduated Central High School in 1968, was a member of the Thomasville Masonic Lodge # 369 and was retired from Flowers Baking Co as a truck driver. He loved fishing, watching Georgia Bulldog football, watching Jeopardy, grilling and telling family stories. He is survived by his daughter, Katie Beckham of Thomasville; step-daughters, Kristy Shuman and Amanda Watts and their families; siblings, James Kirk Beckham of Thomasville, Carole Beckham of Tallahassee, Kathy Beckham Mims and husband Clayton of Leesburg, John Frank Beckham and wife Teresa of Athens and nephew Kirk Beckham and wife Mandy of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. Donations may be made to the Masonic Lodge #369, 310 N. Pinetree Blvd, Thomasville, GA 31792-7126. The family will receive friends 10-11 am, before the service.
